Traveling with your pet If you are considering traveling with your pet. it is important to think ahead and find "pet friendly" hotels, campgrounds and resorts. Always make sure you have the appropriate vaccination certificates, flea and tick preventative, heartworm medicine and other appropriate medications needed by your pet. Keeping your pet's food and water the same, as at home, is also important. In the case of international travel it is recommended that all owners check with the country embassy or counsulate to ensure that the most current importation rules are available.
