Tips to enhance your pet's welfare

There are over 12 different "pet insurance companies".  The issue of which insurance company we accept is a non-issue! We accept all insurance companies.  The way insurance works, in veterinary medicine, is that the OWNER pays the invoice at the time services are rendered and then applies for a reimbursement from the insurance company.  Any information required, concerning the condition, diagnosis or treatment will be forwarded by Maplewood Animal Hospital LLC (MAH)to the appropriate insurance company.  The owner is responsible to ensure all owner paperwork is in order, submitted and the forwarding addresses are correct.  Paperwork submitted to MAH must include all necessary documents for the veterinarian are dropped off in a timely fashion.

"Some Insurance companies available in New Jersey are: ASPCA Insurance, Embrace Insurance, Trupanion Insurance, Pet Plan Insurance and VPI Insurance.
